I've suffered migraine all my adult life. Frequency and intensity of the pain has gradually increased with significant effects on life and relationships. Ongoing liaison with my GP has involved exposure to a variety of medications and to a neurologist. These interventions helped to some extent, but it was nevertheless the GP who suggested Acupuncture. Although pessimistic I referred myself to Emma and to huge surprise I realised within a month or so I'd found - after 30 odd years - an effective remedy. Life has improved considerably, although I still experience migraine it is often less intense and I have the reassuring knowledge there is an effective treatment I can revisit.
Almost as a by-product, reference was made in Emma's initial assessment to the 'frozen' shoulder which has been troubling me for two years and which repeated session with physiotherapists had failed to cure. Emma included focus on the shoulder during two of the ongoing migraine targeted sessions. Within a fortnight the shoulder was pain free and fully functional.
