Emma Gordon-Stables has been treating me for sciatica since November 2005.
As my GP was unable to find an effective pain killer that I could tolerate he agreed that it would not be unreasonable to try acupuncture. He advised me to choose an acupuncturist who was trained in Chinese medicine which Emma is. The orthopaedic clinic agreed with this advice.
Thanks to acupuncture I have been able to wean myself off prescribed drugs and my mobility is almost back to normal. I began with weekly treatment but now have a monthly maintenance treatment as recommended by the rheumatologist.
As acupuncture the chinese way treats the whole body Emma has been able to give me dietary advise also.
